      Katie Lynns absent-minded mother (who is also a horrible cook) experiments with French cuisine, while Katie Lynn, her friend Tina, and her grandmother concoct a new cookie recipe for a benefit at the zoo. The characters in this short chapter book are one dimensional, and the thin plot takes some unbelievable turns. Black-and-white drawings illustrate this story, and the cookie recipe is included.
