The residents of Sea Harbor, MA, are celebrating the holiday season and looking forward to the tree-trimming contest in this tenth series installment (after Finely Knit Murder). When Charlie, Izzy's younger brother, unexpectedly shows up in town after years away, they're all surprised. More surprises are in store, though, as another mysterious visitor ends up murdered. With the police looking hard at Charlie's relationship with the victim, Izzy and the other seaside knitters need to find the real killer. As the group knits their Christmas ornaments and traces the victim's final steps, they uncover dangerous secrets. VERDICT Series fans will want to catch up with the seaside knitters in this well-executed cozy, which includes a sailboat ornament knitting pattern and a recipe.
