The novel "Red Rock" published in 1961, tells that in 1948, some Communists were arrested and detained by the Kuomintang and were detained in Chongqing "China US Cooperation Institute" concentration camp, they were cruelly tortured but they were unyielding and fought against until had win. The book is a officially designated "classic book of the red revolution", with more than 10 million copies published. It is the most popular contemporary novel in China, and has been translated into 19 foreign languages, including English, French, Russian and Japanese. Luo Guangbin, the author was an underground Party member of the Communist Party of China, he was arrested and imprisoned in the concentration Camp for betraying traitors for about six months. In November 1949, he joined the group escape and successfully got off from the prison. But during the Cultural Revolution in 1966, Luo Guangbin was arrested by the Red Guards for denouncing, only six days later he was forced to commit suicide.
